Annual Mr. Pointy Awards for

Buffy Studies Scholarship

 

The editors of Slayage confer annual awards to honor the best Buffy Studies scholarship. The first awards were given at the first Slayage Conference on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in Nashville, May 28-30, 2004. (At the left is a picture of Mary Alice Money and Rhonda V. Wilcox with Mr. P.) Awards are given annually for books (Long Mr. Pointy) and essays (Short Mr. Pointy) and, in years in which one is held, for the best paper at the Slayage Conference (Mr. Pointy Paper).
