One of the original members of Angel Investigation (along with Angela and Cordelia Chase), his visions (courtesy of The Powers That Be) warned Angel of people in trouble who need his help. He dies, heroically, in "Hero," when he shuts down a device that would have destroyed all non-pure-blooded demons.
